i love hockey! ricky has played hockey for the last 2 years which makes his mom proud. however this season he has decided to take a break and play soccer. as long as he is happy i am happy. the reason i mention this is that as much as i LOVE him playing hockey i am secretly grateful right now that i can no longer be referred to as a hockey mom. i for one am not feeling like i am enjoying this political moment. maybe i will feel better about it after say, november. but for the time being i am quite proud to not be grouped in with hockey moms.
