breckenridge...again

joe and i had such a great time in breckenridge a month ago that we decided to take the kids up for an overnight stay. it was the most beautiful weekend. the weather was perfect. probably to make up for the really awful weather we experienced on our anniversary trip. we planned a weekend of no plans, no agenda. just us, our kids and all the time in the world. okay only like 36 hours but it seemed never ending in a good way! we just played the whole weekend by ear. we had a very relaxing and fun weekend.


here are the kids playing in the river. ana kind of slipped and got soaked! but she survived and that's all anyone could ask for.

it was oktoberfest in breck that weekend so there were lots of things to do around town, besides drinking beer. there were booths and rides for kids. here we are walking around.


ana suddenly became very shy changing all weekend, so she made her own little changing room under the table in our hotel room.

we went on an incredible hike. it was so gorgeous out. we had a wonderful time...except for ana...


she got tired. but she cheered up once we go to the top.


we came away from the weekend feeling very refreshed and closer as a family. i just think my little family is so great. but i am, of course, biased.
