every year we take the kids bowling around christmas. we usually go on christmas day but this year we waited a few days and went with our friends jay and cindy. they were visiting from oregon for the holidays and we were so happy to see them! the kids and jay and joe bowled. cindy and i just watched. but it was fine. joe bowled one of his best games ever and ana bowled without bumpers. all the kids did great.
uncle jay kept giving the kids quarters to play video games. needless to say the kids loved it! he even played some of the games with him.
after bowling we went to get dinner at our favorite mexican restaurant.
it was so great to be able to spend some time with jay and cindy. one day we hope we can go visit them in oregon.
