we had a really great weekend. the kids had their friends nathan, amanda, ashley and ethan over for a sleepover. saturday evening we went to an out door concert. there was a really cool hill that the kids spent the entire time running up and down. it was exhausting to watch! but they loved it.

the next morning we headed up to the mountains. when anyone asks me why it is we live in colorado this would be the reason. the mountains are amazing. we love to go up there and play in the river. so that is exactly what we did.

the kids had a great time finding cool rocks and trekking around in the water. 

it was fun trying to get through the river to some of the big rocks.

after a few hours playing in the river we went home and everyone tried to outscore everyone else on guitar hero.

we had such a fun weekend despite joe and i being incredibly outnumbered. we love having the kids over and we are so happy that they all get along.
