anais' 6th birthday

our little girl is turning 6 today. she has brought so much happiness and joy to our lives. we cannot believe how much she has grown in the short time we have known her. she is such a fun kid to be around. she cracks us up every day.


here she is, a few days after we met her, when we were still driving every other day to see them in their foster home.

she really enjoyed her birthday this year. she got to hang out with her friends and family at the local water park as well as have a really fun sleepover. for her birthday dinner she wanted fondue. we made it at home and it was yummy. anais is such a neat kid. we love having her in our family.
