st. patrick's day had never been a particularly imortant day to us until 2 years ago. 2 years ago today we met our kids for the very first time. it's a good thing we like each other because from that moment on we were forever stuck with one another. so another st. patrick's day gone and another annual st. patty's family photo. why break with tradition? the children insisted that every year we re-create what became our very first family photo. so here it is by popular demand...

it still blows me away when i look at this first photo taken on the very first night we met each other. we had known each other for like a whole hour when that picture was taken. and now i feel like i've known the kids forever. we feel so fortunate to share our lives with these little ones, who aren't so little any more :) it's hard to tell who has aged more in 2 years, the kids or us!
