day 4... a very busy day and also the 4th of july

our day started out with a real treat. we were able to meet up with a friend of mine from high school, libby, and her absolutely adorable daughter elizabeth. we hung out at the childrens gardens at thanksgiving point. it was a really cool place. the kids got to see flowers and wildlife. plus they were able to get completely drenched in the fountains. it was really nice to catch up with her.

there were these caverns you could walk through and this bird kept flying in and out of it while we were standing there. soon we realized that there was a nest right above us. we got this great picture of the birds waiting for food! aren't they cute!

next stop was my aunt and uncles house for some more water fun and a bbq.

my aunt bought an enormous water slide/pool thing. it was cool! the kids LOVED it. it was really fun to see all the kids of my cousins and mine playing together.

after the bbq we decorated for my cousins reception and then we did some fireworks and watched some fireworks but have no pictures to show for it. how lame!
