the kids had their annual field day at school. i have always been able to go and help and watch and take pictures. but this year, with joe being unemployed, it wasn't going to work for me to take any time off from my job. i was a little sad as i have never missed a field day. but kendra came to the rescue and let me take her kids on a little field trip to go watch my kids play on field day. so i went for about 2 hours and ethan and brendan loved it! they had a great time watching vera, rick and ana compete and they even cheered them on!
ricky competed in this water game but was too cool to wear the goggles.

i was so glad i got to go see them for a little bit. i think they were pretty happy we were there too!
