pumpkins
we finally went to the pumpkin patch and picked out our pumpkins. we may never get them carved but it's on our list of things to do! the kids had a really fun time picking their pumpkins. we went to a patch just across from our neighborhood, the same one we went to last year. we will certainly let you all know if and when we do get them carved.

Ahh Halloweeen. After a 5+ year dry spell of trick or treaters while living in the the hood we a serious glut of them this year in the more family friendly, small town, close to downtown neighborhood. We ran out of candy after about 45 minutes and Rach was handing out little boxes of raisins and jolly ranchers we had laying around the kitchen before I returned with more. And then wouldn't it figure that we only got like 4 more visitors after that for the final 40 minutes of official trick or treat time.
It was fun though.
