as a follow up, we thought we would show the 3 people that actually read this blog our kids in action. ricky is loving playing hockey! although there were not enough kids in his age group that signed up to play so there are no other 2nd grade teams. apparently all the kids play flag football around here. thus the coach has brought in a few extra kids and they have little scrimages every week. at least he's getting some experience playing and next year he'll be a pro.
vera has once again decided to play soccer. she has the same coach as in the spring and many of the same girls as well. she is rockin the soccer field this year! last spring it was the first time she had ever tried a sport and she was understandably a bit timid. but this season...wow! she has found her place and she has become super aggressive.
we are so proud of both of them. they are working really hard at having a good time!

thats great your kids are into sports. i hope our boys have a love for sports. only time will tell:)
