There are 3 more official legal Hawley's in the world. Today was Adoption Day. We went down to Denver and met our caseworkers and the kids old therapist at the courthouse and sat in front of a judge. He asked us if we intended on caring for the kids for life and if we thought we were of good moral character. We told him we were good people and we wanted to keep the kids forever and he said okay and signed some papers and let us take pictures with him. We were also very privileged to have our friend Kendra join us and stand in for my family which were out of town.

The kids with their old therapist Steve. Steve missed us at the courthouse to attend the adoption proceedings. Ricky especially was pretty upset. But Steve called us after we left and went to eat lunch and he drove over to the restaurant to see the kids and congratulate us. He is awesome!
